Dr. Reginald Ligon
Doctor Reginald Ligon was born in Terre Haute, Indiana and attended college at Indiana State University. He received his dental training in Nashville Tennessee at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry receiving a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1975.
Dr. "Reggie" Ligon enjoys all phases of dentistry and received advanced training in implant placement at the Medical College of Georgia receiving a certificate from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry in 1991. Dr. Reggie is very active in his community and enjoys deep sea fishing, traveling, boating and tennis.
Dr. Mendee Ligon
Doctor Mendee Ligon grew up in Spartanburg, S.C. She attended college in Atlanta Georgia at Spelman College and completed her B.S. degree at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte N.C. She received her dental training at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville Tennessee receiving a Doctor of Dental surgery degree in 1979. She continued post graduate training and received a certificate in hospital dentistry from a general practice residency completed in 1980. Her leisure interests are reading, traveling, boating, and music.
Mark T. Cullen, D.D.S.
Although Dr. Cullen was born in Pittsburgh, PA., the majority of his youth and adult life were spent in Ohio. While attending high school in Canton., Ohio, he was enrolled in the advanced science and math studios program. Extracurricular activities included being co-founder and captain of the wrestling team, a member of the baseball team and the intramural football l team.
Upon graduation from high school Dr. Cullen attended Walsh University in Canton Ohio, graduating with a bachelor's degree in Biology. He then completed a, year of graduate school at the University of Akron studying Physiology, and afterwards attended dental school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
After practicing general dentistry for 10 years in the Cleveland area, he was offered a position in a three year dental implant hospital-based (graduate certificate) program affiliated with the Implant Reconstructive Center in St. Petersburg, Florida and Loma Linda University in California. He served as President of the Southern District of the American Academy of implant Dentistry, has been awarded Diplomate status with the American Board of Implant Dentistry and is an achieved Fellow with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
After practicing with Drs. Hilt Tatum and Richard Borgner for nine years in the Clearwater-St. Petersburg area, he was blessed with the opportunity to join Drs. Reggie and Mendee Ligon.
When he is not serving those patients who entrust their dental care to him, he enjoys traveling and being outdoors, especially hiking our beautiful state and our treasured National Parks. Most recently, he was fortunate enough to have summitted Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa. At 19,340', the view from the "roof of Africa" was breathtaking.
The dental services he provide(s) include root canals, periodontal (gum) therapy and surgeries, bone grafting, extractions, placing dental implants and sedation dentistry.
