Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.
Dental Implants
Our dentists can place and restore implants to replace a single missing tooth, missing multiple teeth or to support a fixed or removable dental appliance.
Teeth Bleaching
Our state-of-the-art, in-office Power Bleaching system will make your teeth whiter in less than 1.5 hours. Another option is our home bleaching system you take with you for results in 2 weeks. You can also consider a combination program of both systems for optimal, long-term results.
Crowns and Veneers
You can have a new smile with all-porcelain crowns on the anterior teeth. For the posterior, we use porcelain fused to metal.
Fillings: Resin (bonded) or Amalgam
Tooth-colored fillings that are light cured to match your teeth. Amalgam: Silver-colored fillings, more durable material.
Root Canals
We perform root canals on anterior, premolar teeth and molars.
Periodontal Treatment
You should have a standard cleaning at least twice a year. Periodontal treatment includes an Adult Prophy (basic cleaning). If it has been over a year since your last cleaning, possible treatment will include either Periodontal Scaling (deeper) or Root Planning and Scaling (requires anesthetic).
Mouth Guards/TMJ Splints
Whether you are an athlete or casual sports participant, you should wear a mouth guard to protect your teeth. If you grind your teeth while you sleep, a bite guard will help reduce symptoms of TMJ. We custom make mouth guards in both soft and hard materials.
Dental Prosthesis
For missing teeth, we can make dentures, removable partials or fixed bridges for you. If you have implants, appliances supported by dental implants can be custom made.
Sedation Dentistry
If you are fearful of have a great deal of anxiety regarding your dental treatments you may want to consider sedation dentistry. After an initial consultation, you will be prescribed medications to help you relax during your dental appointment. Even though you are not technically asleep, our patients describe the experience as being similar. You may have little or no memory of the appointment.
With sedation dentistry, you will find that treatment is performed more comfortably than you might ever have though possible. You will be drowsy and unaware of the time passing by. During the entire appointment you will be monitored continually by our specially trained team of professionals. When the desired sedation state is reached we will proceed with dental treatment. When the doctor is finished, your companion will drive you home. We can accomplish years of treatment in one or two visits.
Sedation dentistry is ideal for adult patients who:
Have high anxiety. Have had traumatic dental experiences
Have difficult getting numb. Have a strong gag reflex
Have TMJ troubles and cannot open their mouth for extended periods
Afraid of needles. Have sensitive teeth
Hate the noises and /or smells associated with dental care
Simply do not have the time for multiple visits
